In this tour you will have the opportunity to experience a traditional night out in Buenos Aires, through an exciting and unique evening of tango.
After the pick up from the hotel we will go to a dance studio, where you will take a milonguero style tango lesson, the style that is danced at the “milonga” (dancing salon). The private lesson teaches the basic steps to dance tango socially in the salon.
After the tango lesson we will have dinner at the exclusive restaurant Bahia Madero, in Puerto Madero (by the river bank). The fixed menu includes different options of starters, main courses, desserts, soft drinks, a glass of wine and coffee.
The tour continues at the milonga, a typical tango venue, where you will be introduced to the world of tango through a discussion of its history and the codes of the milonga, like the “cabeceo” (invitation to dance) and the organization of the dance floor, among many other details. Participants will be able to experience the true essence of the authentic tango of Buenos Aires and if they wish to do so, take their first steps on the dance floor.

We will travel to the land of the gauchos, San Antonio de Areco, a colonial village that preserves the gaucho traditions to their full. Then we will visit a typical Buenos Aires estancia or ranch.
We will first stop at San Antonio de Areco´s old centre. There we will visit the main square and the old beautiful church, which dates from 1753. Then we will visit Dragui´s silver craft workshop, the most reknown silversmith in Argentina. Next, we head towards the Areco River, where we find the Ricardo Güiraldes Gaucho Museum. There we can see a replica of a 18th century ranch. The museum displays weapons and gaucho garments, as well as books, paintings and other objects that belonged to the writer Ricardo Güiraldes, author of the famous book ''Don Segundo Sombra''.
We will spend the rest of the day in El Ombú, an exclusive ranch that has a magnificent farmhouse built in 1880. There we will have a tasty asado (barbecue) and very good Argentinean wines for lunch.
During the afternoon we can go horseback riding or carriage riding along the enormous parks and fields of the ranch. You can also use the swimming pool and solarium, take a walk in the park and participate in the different rural activities such as milking, herding, vaccination and markings.
