Marcio took us around Rio in mid-January, when our ship stopped there for a day. Not only did he show us the ''must'' sights such as Sugar Loaf and Christ the Redeemer statue, but he took us to a waterfall in a national forest, to lunch in a Belle Epoque cafe, led us on a walking tour through downtown, including a stop in front of Carmen Miranda's house.
