Discover the charms of Rio de Janeiro with a ''Carioca''
I'm a '' Carioca'' and I have been a licensed Tour Guide for ten years. I speak English, German, Spanish and Portuguese and I'm one of the fortunate persons in this world to work in a job that I absolutely love. I meet interesting people from all over the world, and I travel to beautiful and enchanting places. It is a pleasure and a privilege to share my city with those wishing to experience its history and captivating beauty.
YOU are the boss when you are with me - setting your own place - and all my tours are flexible. I have my own car (6 people capacity) but I can also provide larger cars.
Come and be my guest to the city which I love. Together we can share a real travelling experience, visit the highlighter, learn about the history and culture of Brazil, discover all the hidden treasures of the city, taste the local cuisine, meet the locals and above all have fun. So let me show you Rio through my eyes.

Tours
Visit to the Christ the Redeemer Statue by train - Initially planned to celebrate the centennial of the independence of Brazil in 1922, the statue of Christ the Redeemer, work of the Brazilian Heitor da Silva Costa and of the Frenchman Paul Landowski was finally inaugurated in 1931 after five years of construction. At an altitude of seven hundred and ten meters on the top of Corcovado Hill, inside the largest urban Forest in the world the statue is visible from everywhere, day and night, with its open arms, both protecting the city and welcoming the tourists.
A drive through the main beaches in the South Zone of Rio (São Conrado, Leblon, Ipanema and Copacabana).
Visit Urca District to board a cable car for a two-staged ascent up Sugar Loaf Mountain.
Rising 396 meters (1,299 ft) above the harbor, its name is said to refer to its resemblance to the traditional shape of concentrated refined loaf sugar.
Many times visitors can watch rock climbers on Sugarloaf. Visitors can see excellent views of Rio de Janeiro from the top of the mountain and sunsets.
Following, a visit to the historical downtown area. Visit the São Bento Monastery and Candelária church. Drive through the old streets and see the Fine Arts Museum, Municipal Theatre and the National Library.
Visit the Metropolitan Cathedral, Sambodromo (Carnival stadium) and Maracanã (soccer stadium).
