Day 1. Arrival in Sofia
Arrival in Sofia. Transfer to Sofia Dedeman Princess Hotel 4****. Dinner and overnight in Sofia.
Day 2. Sofia – Rila Monastery (UNESCO site) - Sofia
Breakfast. City tour of Sofia including the Sveta Nedelya Square,the 4th century AD St George’s Rodunda, The Presidency, National Theatre, The City Garden, Russian Church St. Nicolas, Parliament Square, Alexander Nevski Memorial Cathedral with the most valuable collection of Bulgarian Icons (13-19th c), St. Sofia Church (6th c). Lunch and departure towards Rila Monastery (120km from Sofia) - the country's largest ecclesiatic and cultural temple. This is the most famous and the most fascinating monastery in Bulgaria, under UNESCO protection. Tour of the monastery and visit to the Monastery church, museum and kitchen ''Magernitsa''. Evening arrival in Sofia. Dinner and overnight at Sofia Dedeman Princess Hotel, 4****.
Day 3. Sofia - Plovdiv – Sofia
Breakfast and departure towards Plovdiv. Tour of the Old Town of Plovdiv - imposing open-air museum situated on the three hills of the ancient Roman town Trimontium. Visit of the Ancient Theatre (a well-preserved Roman amphitheatre), Ethnographic museum and other interesting sites. Lunch and departure towards Bachkovo Monastery - one of the oldest monasteries in the Bulgarian lands and the second biggest in the country. It is mainly known for its original architecture, rich collections of old icons, jewelry, coins and church pottery. Return to Sofia. Dinner and overnight at Sofia Dedeman Princess Hotel, 4****.
Day 4. Departure from Sofia
Breakfast. Free time and departure transfer.

Breakfast. Departue to the Rila Monastery - the country's largest ecclesiastic and cultural temple, under UNESCO protection. Tour of the monastery and Lunch in local tabern. The trip continues to Plovdiv. Arrival in the evenning, dinner and overnight in Plovdiv.
Day 4 Plovdiv & Bachkovo Monastery

Lunch and free time or optional excursion to Bachkovo Monastery - one of the oldest monasteries in the Bulgarian lands. In the evening – return to Plovdiv, dinner and overnight.
Day 5 Plovdiv– Kazanlak– Shipka– Etara– Veliko Tarnovo
Breakfast. Departure to Veliko Tarnovo. First stop will be the town of Kazanlak, in the heart of the Valley of roses. Next stop will be the famous Russian- Memorial Church. Continue through the Shipka mountain pass and visit the unique open air museum of authentic traditional crafts - Etara. Lunch. Continue and evenning arrival in Veliko Tarnovo. Accommodation, dinner and overnight in Veliko Tarnovo.
Day 6 Veliko Tarnovo & Arbanassi
Breakfast. Walk tour of Veliko Tarnovo town, lunch and departure to Arbanassi where we will visit the unique Holy Nativity Church. Return to Veliko Tarnovo and free time Dinner and overnight at Hotel.
Day 7 Veliko Tarnovo - Lovech - Pleven – Sofia
Breakfast. Departure to Sofia. On the way to Sofia we shall visit two important Bulgarian towns – Lovech and Pleven. Arrival in the evening at Sofia, dinner and overnight.
Day 8 Departure from Sofia
Arrival in Sofia. Transfer to hotel. Dinner and overnight in Sofia.
