City tour of Sofia - a 3 hour walk
Walking in the center of Sofia and looking at buildings from different periods refering to the history of Bulgaria, visiting some important churches, museums, evening visit to the opera, exploring the athmosphere of the capital city.
Trip in the middle of Bulgaria
Day 1 - Sofia - city tour, visit to the National museum, Boyana church - Unesco monument
Day 2 - Koprivshtiza - walking along cobbled romantic streets from 19C, visiting museum houses and The church of The Vergin Mary. Contunue to Kazanlak - the center of the roses and valley of the Thracian kinqs.
Day 3 - Crossing the Balkan mountains through Shipka pass, visiting Etara - an open air museum center for the hand made crafts and staying in Veliko Turnovo.
Day 4 - exploring the region of Veliko Turnovo, Arbanasi - church of Nativity of Jesus with beautiful frescoes.
Day 5 - Ruse and Ivanovo rock monastery - Unesco monument
Day 6 - On the way to Varna we visit the Sveshari thracian tomb, Madara horseman, Stone forest - Varna
Day 7 - exploring Varna - in the evening possibility for culture event
Day 8 - Varna- Nessebar - a few hours and lunch in this beautiful little town with Byzantine churches - Plovdiv
Day 9 - Plovdiv - city tour and Bachkovo monastery
Day 10 - Plovdiv - Bansko - passing by mountain areas
Day 11 - Rila monastery - the beauty of Bulgaria,also in the list of Unesco and back to Sofia
