About us
King Dawit Tours Ethiopia is one of a privately owned national tour operators; which the name “King Dawit” refers to Dawit I, was King Of Kings (1382 - 1413) of Ethiopia, and a member of the Solomon dynasty. He was the younger son of Newaya Krestos.
Owned and managed by experienced tourism professional Mr. Dawit Solomon (BA Degree in Tourism Management) & long years of experience in various Ethiopian tour companies in managerial position.
Where its head office is located in Addis Ababa and work with the local community at the destinations to address globally demanded that tourism should be “pro-poor” to ensure the existence of sustainable environment, social, cultural values and mutual share of economical benefits.
The staffs are holders of BA in Tourism Management and long years of experience in big travel companies and, well acquainted to the country’s, indigenous natural, social and culture values, and share an extensive knowledge, maintaining the utmost respect of customers for mutual benefit and carry responsible tour operations.

Nature Based Tours

Day 01: Depart by 4x4 vehicles for Arbaminch (505km) through the Rift Valley Lakes. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: Leave for Jinka enjoying the extraordinary diversity of cultures.
Day 03: A.M. drive through the natural forests and undulating terrains across the Mago River and visit the Mursi Villages. Undeniably, the highlight of your Omo Safari will be the visit of the Mursi women who wear clay lip plates. P.M. game viewing at Mago National Park and overnight stay at camp site.
Day 04: Depart for Murulle home of Karo people who are considered the masters of body painting and decorate their bodies with chalk paint often imitating the spotted plumage of a guinea fowl.
Day 05: Drive to Turmi the capital of the archetypal South Omo residents, the Hammer people that enjoy body decoration like the other Omo area tribes and wear quantities of colorful beads and clay hair buns with Ostrich feathers.
Day 06: Drive back to Arbaminch visiting more of the tribal people.
Day 07: A.M. visit the village of Dorze tribe’s who are known for their weaving skill and unique bamboo huts. And then proceed driving back to Addis Ababa.

Program: Bale National Park & Rift Valley
Duration: 4nights/5days
Transport: Land

Day 01: Drive via Nazareth and Assela towns to Bale National Park and visit the northern part of the park, Dinsho where you find the endemic mammal Mountain Nyala. Overnight stay at lodge/hotel.
Day 02: Full day excursion to park’s central region Tullu Deemtu and Harena natural Forest that offer spectacular sceneries and vegetation along with endemic Simien Fox.
Day 03: Full day excursion to visit the most spectacular underground cave system in the world, Sof Omar.
Day 04: Drive via Shashamane to Wondogenet.
Day 05: Drive back to Addis visiting the Rift Valley Lake
