Guided tour #1: The Old Lyon District

Duration : 1 day
Level : easy Easy
The Old Lyon district consists of three differents districts : Saint Jean in the center, Saint Paul to the North and Saint Georges to the South. It was during the Middle Ages and the Renaissance period the city center, the siege of the episcopal power and later the trading power.

Come to have a stroll with me, through the numerous ''traboules'' (passageways) of the Old Lyon, which are typical of the architecture of this district. Then discover the beautiful Renaissance architecture, with numerous inner courtyards, and a gastronomic atmosphere thanks to its numerous ''bouchons'' (Lyonnais restaurants).

Guided tour #2: The Fourvière Hill - Lyon

Duration : 1 day
Level : easy Easy

The colony of Lugdunum was established in year 43 AD by Munatius Plancus on the hill of Fourvière. From then on, the colony did not stop evolving to become the capital of the Gauls, a cultural and economic center of first importance. Among the sites that marked this period, you will discover the Gallo-Roman theatre and the Odeon of Fourviere.

But the Fourviere Hill, known as the ''hill that prays'' also boasts the impressive basilica Notre-Dame de Fourvière, an important pilgrimage centre since the 19th century, from where you will enjoy a marvellous view over Lyon.
