Tour which includes the ''not-can-be-missed'' spots of the city :
1) The Fourvière hill with its view and its basilica from the 19th
2) The Renaissance district (16th) with its passages and private courtyards
3) The city center with buildings from the 18th & 19th
The visit can be extended by a stop in the roman remains or a visit of the Museum of the roman civilisation.
It can also be combined with other tours on my page, of other district of the city.

This tour is dedicated to the ''hill that works'' named from the fact that it was the living place of silk weavers as early as the 19th. The hill knew the sound of the looms but also the one of clandestine prints and arrests during the WW2 as it was also the illegal working place of the resistants.
Our tour will turn around those two aspects of the hill without forgetting the traboules (passages in the buildings) which permis to go down the hill by taking very few streets.
This tour can last 2 o 3 hours.

VIENNE : The rival of Lyon during the roman times has more remains nowadays including a temple, arches of forum and theater. The visit won't be completed within the one of the modern museum dedicated of the way of life during roman time.
