Lecturer certificated by the Ministry of Culture and licensed transport guide, I organize tours and assist individual and / or groups wishing to visit Provence in A/C minivan or upgrade sedan.
Strongly attached to my Provençal roots, I especially like make them discover authentic places, off the beaten tracks.
I designed a collection of private excursions and bespoke tours for guests to experience an authentic Provence, take part in workshops or genuine meetings with the local community and independent producers.
I am also specialized in organizing pilgrimages dedicated to St. Mary Magdalene whose relics are sheltered in the Basilica of Saint Maximin la Sainte Baume, my hometown. My tour “On Mary Magdalene’s footsteps in Provence” allowed me to be nominated for the ''Women of the economy'' in 2013.

Guided tour #1: Aix en Provence, Cassis and its wild calanques

Duration : 1 day
Level : easy Easy
In this country , the landscape is marked by the emergence of a limestone fortress known around the world trough Paul Cezanne’s paintings, the Sainte Victoire mountain.
City of waters, city of art and birthplace of the famous impressionist Paul Cézanne, Aix en Provence invites you to travel in time through its architecture like a stage set.
Much of the old town, Vieil Aix, is pedestrian only, made for strolling through its labyrinth of narrow streets. They lead you to the 17th
century Town Hall, the Archbishop’s Palace and St Sauveur Cathedral and its delightful Romanesque cloister. You can also appreciate a typical southern atmosphere at the market witch transforms places into real color-changing pictures. All stalls are a reflection of Provencal cuisine : natural, fresh, varied and fragrant...
You will continue with Cassis, an unspoiled fishing village dominated by a 14th century castle and surrounded by white limestone cliffs, umbrella pines and vineyards descending directly into the sea. Pastel houses and colorful wooden fishing boats curve around the little port.
Take your time to do a little shopping or take a boat trip in the National Park (not included) to marvel at the crystalline azure coves called Calanques and its smooth white cliffs.

Guided tour #2: Nature and legends in the Sainte Baume Mountain

Duration : 1 day
Level : medium Medium
This massif that took its name from ''baumo'' which means cave in
Provence, is largely linked to the history of Mary Magdalene.
Driven out from Palestine during the persecution of the early Christians, she landed in Les Saintes Marie de la Mer, where began her mission of evangelization. She spent the last years of her life in penance in the cave in the Sainte Baume, which made this place from the beginning a fertile ground for Christians.
You will join the Ste Baume mountain by a wild and winding road through the pass of Espigoulier, the highest of the Bouches du Rhône.
From the Hospitality of the Dominican Brothers, through the magnificent forest relic of Sainte Baume planted by centenarians unique plant species in southern Europe, you will reach the Cave St. Mary Magdalene, one of the most important Christian pilgrimage by the Kings'path marked by oratories (45 min walk). Your guide will explain all the legends linked to the mountain and its former occupants.
In the afternoon, discovery of a very traditional old ice house. Indeed, from the 17th to the 19th century, the ice making and trade was an important part of the local economy (10 min. walk from the road).
