My name is Eric. I was born in Paris, my parents and grandparents were of Prussian-German, Polish and French descent, so I consider myself to be truly European. Perhaps it was this diverse background of my family that instilled in me the desire and enthusiasm to study and learn about other countries, the people and their evolution through history and their way of life. It also gave me the advantage of being multilingual from an early age, for which I have always been very grateful, as it has served me so well in my chosen profession. I will tell you more about myself later, as I need to know something about you to help decide the very best time for you.

Do you want to explore exciting cities ancient and new, quaint towns, picturesque half timbered villages, amazing UNESCO sites, fabulous castles and monuments, to discover hidden secrets of local life? Do you appreciate to travel thru beautiful scenery, to learn about the old and new traditions and customs of where you visit? Then come with me when we can discover all these things and more. Naturally there must also be time to just relax, to sit, to stroll, maybe to shop, to feel the ambience of a place, to perhaps meet with other local people, to enjoy the company of your fellow travelers, or just have some time out on your own. You choose the pace and I will respect all that.

So, back to me again as promised. . . After leaving Paris as a young man I worked in France, Germany and more of Europe, eventually settling on the French Riviera. There I worked for some years as a limousine chauffeur in Monaco, coach driver and winter ski instructor. A very varied and good life, I considered myself very fortunate.

During the last 15 years I progressed to my full time professional career as a Tour Guide, working once again in Europe, Russia and the U. K. In recent years I have also specialised in local work and themed tours dividing my time between 2 fantastic locations, the south of France (near Carcassonne) and Germany on the Rhein-Main-Neckar area. This has given me a passion for gaining in depth knowledge and experience of all the places I love to visit and share with you.

It would bring me much pleasure to be considered as your guide or private chauffeur as required. We would share a unique time together, interesting visits, food specialties, maybe local Apple wine and hopefully good weather too! As you may have gathered I am a people person. . . though I do like animals as well! So. . .
