With this tour you can discover most part of Budapest, you can not only learn about the history but I would like to tell you fascinating stories, legends, myths about the sights, places which can even take you back to the turn of the century.
I can pick you up at your hotel and we start the tour in the city center. With this tour we will cover most part of Pest side and we also discover some parts of Buda.
We start the tour in the city center with takeing one of the oldest underground in Europe to the City Park, we visit the Heroe's Square and back to downtown Pest -on the famous Andrássy avenue- what we explore on foot.
Then we walk along the Danube to the Roosevelt Square visit the Saint Stephen's Basilica and the Gresham Palace a beautiful example of the Hungarian Art Nouveau, then we walk to Buda on the Chain bridge to explore to old part of Budapest.
We can take the funicular up to the hill, where we explore first the royal or presidential part (where you can find the former Royal Palace - if you join my tour I ll tell you why formal), then the residential part (Matthias Church, Fisherman's Bastion)
We finish the tour in the Castle area.

A half day city tour by car or minivan gives you the first impression of Budapest.
I can show you the highlights of the city within 4 hours.
On Pest side we'll visit the famous Andrássy avenue, Heroes' square, drive around the City Park, back downtown Pest, then we go to Buda for a nice walk in the old Castle District and then you have a breathtaking view from the Gellért Hill the highest point of the city center. The panoramic view of the Danube is part of the World Cultural Heritage.
We will have several stops so you'll also have time to take pictures.
We drive along the Andrássy avenue where you can see the State Opera House and then we go the to Heroe's square,
in the City park to see one of the oldest Zoo, Circus and Amusement Park, and the Széchenyi Bath, the largest thermal bath in central Europe.
Then we go back to downtown Pest we drive next to the Saint Stephen Basilica the largest catholic church of Budapest after that you'll have the opportunity to see the Dohány street synagogue, the largest one in Europe.
We also visit the Parlament (from outside only), and then we go to Buda, the old part of the city to explore the Castle District, the former Royal Palace, the neo gothic Matthias Church and visit the Fisherman's Bastion.
For the best view we can drive up to Gellért hill and next to one of the most beautiful bath we go back to Pest (unless you prefer to stay in Buda).
These are my suggestions for a half day tour
but you can also ask for a tailor made tour.

Would like to learn a lot about Budapest but you only have one day? Then this is the tour for you!
With a day tour I would like to show you my city introduce you it's history and culture properly, talk about the traditions and everyday life of the Hungarians through the eyes of a local.
So we not only combine the panoramic overview with interior visits in a unique and personal way but I will show you a lot of those sight which you couldn't see with a 4 hour tour.
If you have more time to explore Budapest in a relaxing way we can even do this tour in 2 parts (2 x 4 hours in 2 days)
We drive along the Andrássy avenue where you can see the State Opera House (enjoy a private visit) then we go the to the
Heroe's square, in the City park to see one of the oldest Zoo, Circus and Amusement Park, and then we can visit the largest thermal bath in central Europe, the Széchenyi Bath.
Then we go to Downtown Pest we drive next to the Saint Stephen Basilica the largest catholic church of Budapest after that you'll have the opportunity to see (or even visit) the Dohány street synagogue, the largest one in Europe.
We taste some authentic Hungarian dishes at a local restaurant.
Than we visit the Parliament and then Buda, the old part of the city to explore the Castle District, the former Royal Palace, the neo gothic Matthias Church and the Fisherman's Bastion.
After the best view from Gellért hill we go to the
Market Hall where you'll have opportunity to buy some local products or souvenirs.
We can even combine the advantages of a car based tour with some walking because there are some parts of the city what you can explore better on foot.
In case you don't need the car all the way on the tour you pay less for the rental.
Just feel free to ask me about the details.

If you get tired of the general sightseeing tours come for an easy sightseeing with a lot of culinary experience.
Experiencing Hungary's food and wine and coffee culture is the best way to learn about Hungarian culture and traditions.
