I had a classical education. I have a degree in foreign languages and literature which I got in Milan University. I also studied in England. France and Spain. I am an officially licensed guide of Agrigento, Piazza Armerina and Ragusa regularly inscribed in the list of licensed guides of Sicily (licence no SE 082/084). I am a co-founder of the Agrigento guides association. When I work as a guide I endeavour to find out the particular interest of the people I talk to and I try to focus my explanations on the subjects of most interest to them for example mythology, architecture, art psychology, botanic, traditions, habits, food, religion.In my long career I have been guiding successfully all kinds of people from various professions and all walks of life.

This is the tour that most visitors choose.
It’s a walking tour and it includes the visit of the temples of Hera (Juno), Concord, Heracles (Hercules), Zeus (Jupiter) and of the Telamon. It includes also the visit of the sanctuary of the Cthonian divinities and of the temple of Dioscuri (Castor and Pollux). The temples of Asklepios (Esculapios), of Demeter and of Hephaistos (Vulcan)will be shown from a distance. You are not allowed to go inside the temple of Hera and the temple of Concord.
It’s an easy walking tour and it should not prove difficult for anyone to do it.
You better take an umbrella with you. It would be useful mainly for the sun. Agrigento area is one of the driest of Italy and the sun shines almost every day. And don’t forget your sun glasses and sun screen.
It’s a multilingual tour, it depends on the request. While I give you the explanations in other languages if any you will have free time to take your pictures or just to enjoy the site.
