This is the classical walking tour that I normally organize for the first time tourists in Florence. Starting from the religious center, with the Cathedral, the Giotto's Campanile (belltower) and the Baptistery of Sant’John and going through the ancient Dante's Alighieri district with its caractiristic medieval towers, reaching at the end, the political center of the town:''Piazza della Signoria'' and its ''Palazzo Vecchio'' the old seat of the ancient gouvernement of the florentine state (today is the municipality seat); ''The Loggia dei Lanzi'', a open air museum, going to the Arno river, passing by the ''Uffizi Gallery'' and reaching the ''Old Bridge'', the emblem of Florence. Duration about 2-3 hours.

The tour I'll describe here depends of the hotel in Florence the clients are staying, because I will pick up them directly from the hotel's reception. During the walking tour I will introduce the history of Florence describing what we can see along the way.
But finally we can enter into the Uffizi Gallery (reservation required)and we'll continue our walking tour, admiring the chronogical painting exhibition of the Gallery. There are some artist name whose masterpieces we will meet : Giotto, Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raffaello, Tiziano, Rembrandt and many many others.Duration about 2-3 hours.
