Day 1: Arrival Amman – Amman Hotel
Upon arrival to Queen Alia Airport our representative will meet and assist you through the customs and immigration procedures. Transfer to the hotel in Amman for overnight.
Day 2: Amman Hotel – Jerash – Ajloun – Amman Hotel (B)
Breakfast at hotel, then we leave to Jerash, the best example of a Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East. Visit the spectacular Forum, Roman colonnaded street, the Nymphaeum and Artemis Temple. Next stop is Ajloun the great 12th century Islamic castle build around 1184/85 by the famous Islamic leader Salah al-Din. Around evening we drive back to Amman for overnight.
Day 3: Amman Hotel – Madaba – Mt Nebo – Dana Village – Petra Hotel (B)
After breakfast we depart to Mt. Nebo. This is the place where Moses gazed at the promised land before he died and believed to be his burial place. You visit the old monastery, overlook the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, Jericho and Jerusalem. After we proceed to Madaba to view the famous mosaic 6th century map of Palestine in St. George’s church. Afterward we drive to Kerak along the famous ancient caravan route the King's Way. We have a short stop in Wadi Al-Mujib, a great wide valley with magnificent geological formation. We visit Dana village, located in Jordan's largest reserve with a diverse flora and fauna, consisting of mountains and wadis. Continue to Petra for overnight.
Day 4: Petra visit – Wadi Rum Camp (B, D)
After breakfast depart for a full day tour to the red rose city Petra, the biggest attraction of Jordan. Petra was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and founded a commercial empire. Start the trip to the canyon, the so called Siq, and by foot to the most beautiful monument the Treasury. Among other monuments you will see are the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle. In the afternoon 1.5 hrs transfer to Wadi Rum desert, dinner and overnight at Wadi Rum Camp.
Day 5: Wadi Rum jeep tour – Dead Sea Hotel (B)
Breakfast at camp, then see more from the protected area of Wadi Rum, one of the most impressing desert landscapes in the world. Here still Bedouins live in a traditional way, and by 4x4 Jeep tour you discover canyons, sand dunes and Nabatean rock inscriptions. Continue to the Dead Sea area, flanked by hills and mountains, check in at your hotel, remainder of the day free.
Day 6: Dead Sea leisure (B)
Leisure day at the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth, its rich salt allows bathers to float effortlessly on the water. Overnight Dead Sea.
Day 7: Dead Sea Hotel – Amman Airport (B)
Breakfast, according to flight schedule 1 hour transfer to QAI Airport for departure
