A COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT. We researched guides and finally decided on Mr. Alsaqqa, contacted him and retained his services for a driving day from Aqaba to Amman complete with pick up from our cruise ship, side stops, etc. His price was supposed to include the entire day.
Well, he - sub-contracted out our drive to someone who was not allowed to pick up on the dock, had an older, worn and filthy car, was so large that the seat bumped my friend's knees all day, had no idea of what he was supposed to be doing.
Without the generosity of one of the guides with dock clearance, we would never have found the substitute as he was in a parking lot at least a good 20-30 minute walk from the ship (in blistering heat) Fortunately for us, this guide drove us out to meet the other and brought our luggage too.
All of this would have been forgivable but when I wrote to Mr. Alsaqqa saying almost what is above, there was no response. That was unforgivable.
