Departure in M'hamid on the back of the Camel, we cross a 10 km distance of small dunes (well two hours ride), lunch under an unloading Tamarisk tree. At 15 o'clock you are picked up there from the 4x4 and you will travel through a beautiful desert landscape. Break in the Oasis Sacrée with Thè à la menthe. The Oasis Sacrée consists of a small group of palm trees around a source in the midst of the desert, which running water the whole year. The Nomads comes with their herds for soaking. After further 15 km we reach the dunes of Chegaga. This largest group of dunes of the region reaches a height of 300 m on a length of 40 km. We spend the night directly in nomad tents at the dunes. Dinner with entertainment. Next morning after breakfast return to M’hamid.

Day 1: Departure at 8.00 direction Erg Ez-Zahar south-east of Mhamid. After a 3-hour ride lunch break at Race Nkhal, at 15.00 departure for Oued Naam, 2-hour ride, bivouac near the nice dunes of Sidi Naji, dinner.
Day 2: Departure from Sidi Naji at 8:00, we walk over a large stone desert (hammada), lunch break below a shady Tamarisk tree, 15.00 ride to the terrific dune area of Erg Ez-Zahar for sunset, bivouac, dinner.
Day 3: After breakfast we ride over a large stone desert (hammada) before we finally reach Lhdibate, in order to take lunch. In the afternoon we continue to the sand dunes of Erg Smar. Dinner with entertainment.
Day 4: After breakfast departure, 3-hour ride to Lbour, lunch break, 15.00 back to Mhamid, arriving around 18.00. End of tour.

No worries though - you will be accompanied by the natives of the Sahara. Our guides are from the Saharaoui tribe; they grew up in the desert and know the Sahara like the back of their hand.
Your day on a camel trek will start with a simple breakfast, fresh bread - baked in the embers of the fire - butter, jam, cheese, tea and coffee before breaking the camp. For two or three hours you will then ride your camel or walk alongside across the dunes. After an extended lunch break some more distance will be covered to reach the camp for the coming night. Put up your tent and enjoy the fabulous sunset before having dinner around the fire.
