Day 1: tour of the historical centre of St.Petersburg - featuring spit of Vasilievsky island, Peter and Paul fortress (inside visit), central squares - Palace, Senate, St.Isaac's, Arts' square and Grand hotel Europe, Smolny cathedral view, Aurora cruiser (possible visit), Summer gardens (available from May 2012), St.Nicholas cathedral, Choral synagogue, St.Michael's castle, Egyptian sphinxes at the Neva river embankment, Mariinsky theatre, monuments to Peter I - the Bronze horseman and more...
Day 2: visit to the Church on the Spilt Blood - Russian style colourful temple with enamelled domes and 7000 sq m of mosaics, tour of city canals, Yusupov palace - an aristocratic residence with genuine 19th century interiors where Rasputin was murdered
Day 3: the Hermitage museum - gala halls of the Winter palace, highlights of picture galleries - da Vinci, Raphael, Michelangelo, Titian, Giorgione, El Greco, Rembrandt, Monet, Renoir, Matisse, Picasso and much more. Possible extension: Golden treasury rooms - non-available for regular visitors.
Day 4: suburban tour featuring Catherine's palace in Pushkin (Tsarskoye Selo) containing the recreated Amber room and fountains of Peterhof gardens
