* Visit the ancient Hippodrome with Obelisk of Theodosius, Snake Pillar and German Fountain of Wilhelm II.
* After Hippodrome we will see the Blue Mosque, built for Sultan Ahmet I, which is a unique piece of architecture with its six minarets and beautiful blue Iznik tiles of interior.
* Visit the St. (Haghia) Sophia, which was built by the Emperor Justinian. It was the largest building in the world for over 1000 years. See its intricate mosaics and huge central dome. (St Sophia is closed on Monday)
* Continue to Basilica Underground Cistern, which was built in 532 AD by Theodosius of Byzantine Empire. This is the largest and best preserved cistern in Istanbul
* After lunch we will visit Topkapi Palace, which was used by the Ottoman Sultans from the 15th to 19th centuries. We will also see the impressive collection of priceless jewels, crystal, silver and porcelain, robes worn by the sultans and relics of the prophet Mohammed. (Entrance to the Harem is extra).
* Later we will visit Grand Bazaar. Built in 1461 by Ottoman Sultan Mehmet II, Grand Bazaar with its 4000 indoor shops is the largest bazaar in Istanbul and the place where your haggling skill comes most handy. The tour will end after you are dropped at your hotel

Day 1) Arrive in Ankara. An evening welcome and briefing from your Tour Guide.
Day 2) In the morning a guided tour of museum of Ancient Anatolian Civilization and drive to Hattuşa capital of ancient Hittite Empire. Arrive in the town of Amasya in the evening. BD
Day 3) In the morning a walking tour of Amasya including the Ottoman Mosque complex of Beyazit, Pontic Rock Tombs and Hazeranlar Konagi an old Ottoman wooden mention on the bank of Yesil Irmak before we drive along the beautiful Black Sea coast through hazel nut groves to the small town of Fatsa, visiting Samsun the ancient Amissos an Amazonian town to see old Tumulus tombs and a modern statue of an Amazon on the way. BD
Day 4) Today we will drive on to Trabzon. We will visit Hagia Sophia a 13th C church and in the afternoon we will visit Sumela Monastery built into a cliff in the Black Sea Mountains. Overnight stay in Trabzon. BD
Day 5) This morning we will drive along the Eastern Black Sea coast through tea gardens and terraces to the High Mountains of Savsat. We will be guest of a local familly in the village of Karakoy in the Sahra Mountain and National Park. BD
Day 6) Free day. There are several trails available in the surrounding valleys and ridges all the way to the peak of Mt Sahra with breath-taking scenery of Kackar Mountains. BLD
Day 7) Drive through highlands of Eastern Turkey to the town of Kars. Afternoon we will visit ancient Ani the 10th C capital of Armenian Bagratid Kingdom. See well preserved churches, Cathedral and a Mosque. BD
Day 8) Drive to Dogubeyazıt via biblical Mount Ararat and visit Ishakpasa Palace. Afternoon drive to Van and visit Van Castle the ancient capital of Urartian Tushba on the shore of largest lake of Turkey lake Van. BD
Day 9) Visit Akdamar Island to see the beautiful 10th century Armenian church of the Holy Cross. Drive to Tatvan and an afternoon visit to volcanic Mt.Nemrut, a chance to swim in the crater lake or bathe in the thermal spa there. BD
Day 10) An early start to Mardin a town of great local architectural character. On the way visit Hasan Keyf an old town on Tigris River bank and old Jacobite Christian Monastery. Overnight stay in Mardin. BD
Day 11) In the morning visit Diyarbakır old Inns, Ulucami and Towers of city wall. Later we will drive to Mt Nemrut where we will see the Giant Stone heads form 1th BC. Overnight in Kahta. BD
Day 12) In morning visit Ataturk Dam Lake built on the Euphrates on the way to Urfa. A walking tour to explore the oriental traditionl bazaar of Urfa and Holy Fish lake. Afternoon we drive to Gaziantep where we can see the beautiful mosaics of ancient Zeugma in the museum. BD
Day 13) Today we will travel to Hatay the biblical Antioch where St Paul started his missionary journey. We will visit church of St Paul and the Mosaic Museum of Hatay.BD
Day 14) Morning flight to Istanbul. Transfer to the hotel and the rest of day free explore this marvellous city or alternately you can join one of our guided tour. B

Day 1) Istanbul- Arrival day and meet your tour guide in the evening about the deatils of the trip.

Day 4) Cappadocia- Morning walking tour through cappadocian valleys to see bizarre volcanic rock formations of the region. Later we will visit Goreme open air museum to see finest Byzantine frescoes in cave churches. B
Day 5) Konya- Visit the underground city of Kaymakli, and walk in the lovely Ihlara Valley along the Melendiz river, cave churhes and dwellings before continuing to Konya, home to the famaous Whirling Derwish sect. We will visit the Mevlana Museum which was the monastery for Whirling Derwishes till 1926. BD (3 hours driving)
Day 6) Antalya- An early start for our journey across the breathtaking Taurus Mountains to the Mediterranean Sea. We will visit Aspendos the best preserved Roman theatre before continuing to the coastal town of Antalya. B (5-6 hours driving)
Day 7) Kekova Cruise- Today we will drive along the Mediterranean coast to the town of Demre where we will visit the church of St Nicholas and ruins of ancient Myra, the place where St Nicholas was the Bishop in 4th C AD Afternoon we will board our Gulet a traditional wooden yacht for 2 day cruise around islands and secluded coves.BD (3 hours driving)
Day 8) Kas- Today we will cruise around the partly sunken city of Simena and visit picturesque Kale village with the ancient remains of Lycian city of Simena. Afternoon we will sail to Kas disambark and overnight in Kas. BL
Day 9) Drive to Pamukkale, famous for its calcified rock terraces. Afternoon visit to the calcium terraces and ruins of ancient Hieraplolis. Overnight in Pamukkale. BD (6 hours driving)
