Tours
William Dickson (Belfast City Walking Tours and Coach Guide Services) has been a guide in Belfast from 1993. Engaged by Belfast City Council from 2001 to undertake walking tours in Belfast. He is also in great demand as a coach guide with bookings from all over the world. He provides a wide range of themed walking and coach tours and will create one to suit the interests of a particular group.
Tours include ''The Blackstaff Way'' which is a great introduction to Belfast, and ''The Farset Way'' showing some of the oldest parts of Belfast. ''The Bible Way'' is ideal for church groups interested in the role the Bible played in Belfast's history. ''The Doctor's Way'' tour commemorates the life and times of famous Belfast doctors and the mark they made on the city. SPECIAL 2012 TOUR: 'The Ulster Covenant Tour' from the Ulster Hall (Bedford Street). Every Saturday, 11am to 1pm from 3rd March until 27th October 2012. Tickets £6 per person; available from 10.45am. The 1912 Ulster Covenant was signed by just under half a million men and women from Ulster in protest against the third Home Rule Bill. The events of 1912 are brought alive by a qualified Blue Badge Guide. More details from www.ulstercovenant-tour.co.uk
