Guided tour #2: Brunel's Bristol

Duration : 1 day
Level : easy Easy
Bristol was the second city in England for many centuries, its importance being demonstrated by being the location for the first American consulate in Great Britain. Although not born in the city, one of its favourite adopted sons is the Victorian engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel. In addition to taking in traditional favourites such as the Downs, Clifton (described by John Betjamin as 'the handsomest suburb in England') and the historic harbourside, a 2 hour coach tour will include sites associated with Brunel eg SS Great Britain and the Clifton Suspension Bridge.
