Robina Brown owns Driver Guide Tours. She provides private tours, by car, of London and the surrounding area. There is no set tour. Go and see places that interest you, at a pace that suits you.
Half day or full days tours of London:
Classic London - Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey where coronations are held and the Tower of London, which houses the Crown Jewels.
Off-beat London - Highgate cemetery, a pre-anasthesia operating theatre and the back-streets of London.
Harry Potter tour - see Platform 9 3/4 at King's Cross Station, the entrance to the Ministry of Magic, the Leaky Cauldron pub and other places.

Guided tour #1: In the Footsteps of Harry Potter

Duration : 1 day
Come and see where they filmed the Harry Potter stories. Tours can be around London or further afield to Oxford, Lacock and Gloucester. Overnight tours can include Alnwick Castle and Edinburgh. There is no set tour and they can last from half a day around London to several days around Britain.

Guided tour #2: Gardens of Great Britain

Duration : 1 day
England is blessed with a climate that makes gardens flourish. Gardens come in all shapes and sizes from the largest stately home estate to a small urban garden. Tours can be as short as a day tour from London up to several weeks around Britain. There is no set tour.

Guided tour #3: Sir Winston Churchill and World War II

Duration : 1 day
There are many sites associated with World War II in the south of England. This is where Operation Dynamo was planned - the evacuation of the troops from Dunkirk. It is also where Operation Overlord was planned - the invasion of Normandy in 1944. Come and see some of the places where the planning took place. Also visit the Cabinet War Rooms and Churchill Museum in London, which is unique.
For longer tours, we can also visit Normandy and see the museums and places assosiated with the Normandy Landings.

Guided tour #4: A Classic Day Tour of London

Duration : 1 day
You cannot come to London and miss the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace. Robina knows where to stand to get the best photos. Combine it with a tour of the Tower of London to see the Crown Jewels and King Henry VIII's suits of armour. During the day we will also see the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Piccadilly Circus, St Paul's Cathedral and Trafalgar Square.

Guided tour #5: London for Children

Duration : 1 day
London is a wonderful city and full of things to keep a child amused for days. The Guard Change at Buckingham Palace is a must. Climb the dome of St Paul's Cathedral. Follow in the footsteps of Harry Potter. See the Egyptian mummies in the British Museum. Learn about the life and times of William Shakespeare. Stand with a foot in each hemisphere astride the Prime Meridian of the World. The list is endless. There is no set tour.
Tours can also go out of London to places like Stonehenge, Bath, Warwick Castle, Oxford, Stratford upon Avon and Portsmouth.
