For more than 25 years now, I have been living in San Francisco and work as a Russian speaking tour guide. Being native of Leningrad (now St. Petersburg), Russia, I am akin to fine arts, history and architecture. While sightseeing San Francisco, you will be stunned by reminiscence of renowned sceneries one can see in Paris, London, Rome, Tokyo, Shanghai, and even Suzdal. You will see our famous Golden Gate Bridge capturing your imagination by its elegant architecture. Our Golden Gate Park is the only and the biggest park in the world man-grown on sand dunes. The nature has blessed San Francisco with a wonderful mild climate so the park features such vegetation variety as palm trees, cypresses, sycamores, various bushes and shrubs, tastefully blended with exalted bronze statues. The park cozily houses a magnificent Japanese garden, an aquarium, a lake with a waterfall, and the English Crystal Pavilion brought from London. A part of the Golden Gate Park is being transformed into mini prairie with grazing bisons.
